Process
Taking your custom home vision to reality
Design Phase
1. Idea
Crafting your dream home starts with a clear vision. The more you share, the better! Pictures, videos, websites showcasing styles you love, and even floorplans help us understand your ideal living space. The more details you provide, the closer we get to translating your dream into reality.
2. Design Concept
With all your ideas in hand, we'll craft your first draft. Clear communication is key - together, we'll create your dream home! Our standard Design & Construct package includes 3 revisions to ensure a perfect fit for your budget and vision.
3. Council Design Application Lodgement
Design complete! Now we'll gather paperwork for council approval. For building only clients, an approved Design Application letter is all that is needed.
4. Construction Certificate
After council approves the design and both parties sign the contract, Hasp Projects will apply for the Construction Certificate - the final permit before construction begins.
5. Job Start
We are all ready to start on site! Once the building certifier has issued the Construction Certificate we can now proceed to commence works on site. The concrete slab will be poured within three to four weeks.
6. Post Slab Pour Site Visit
This is crucial because it ensures the foundation – literally the groundwork – is solid and built to last. Knowing the foundation is sound gives you confidence your home is built on a secure base.
7. Pre-Sheet Site Visit
This is an opportunity to visualise the house's location and how it will sit on the property. This helps ensure your vision aligns with the reality of the build site.
8. Cabinet & Tile Site Visit
During your new home build, a cabinet and tile site visit is a powerful tool to ensure your dream kitchen and bathroom come to life exactly as you envisioned.
9. Final Inspection
Dream Home Complete! Join us for your final walkthrough with our Director Curtis Aspden. Ask questions, get demos, and ensure everything meets your standards before closing the deal.
10. Handover
The day has finally arrived.
The Occupational Certificate has been lodged with the appropriate governing body, and you are now ready to collect your keys. It is time to sit back and enjoy your new home.
